Shavet Supplies source, supply and deliver numerous products and services to poultry farms. With no online presence Shavet was interested in bringing in new customers. I suggested a landing page to show new customers the services offered, with the opportunity to later expand into ecommerce.
About Project
This site was developed in November 2022 for my mother’s business, Shavet Supplies. They source, supply and deliver industrial and home use cleaning products for farms. I developed it to replace the site I had previously built for her but wasn’t as informative and optimised as it should be. With more experience under my belt, I approached her about building a newer and improved site that focused on the people-to-people business model that she preferred. She wanted a clean and simple interface that displayed what her business offered. I suggested a landing page with all the relevant information displayed and she accepted. I used a TailwindCSS template as inspiration and then built the site from the ground up using Nuxt and TailwindCSS. We’re both happy with the result and it’s easily scalable to include an ecommerce page if she decides to move in that direction in the future.
